It was reported on theauthority of our master, the Commander of the Faithful, Ali Ibn Abi Talib - may God be pleased with him - that he said:
“A people worshiped God out of desire, so that is the worship ofmerchants, and if a people worshiped God out of fear, that is the worship of
slaves, And if a people worshiped God out of gratitude, that is the worship of
the free and who is this adage about our master- Ali - may God be pleased with him and make him satisfied? Who are you?
Do you worship God out of fear of fire or hope for heaven?
You are truly trading with God - the Almighty - Congratulations, you are amerchant
And if you worship God Almighty out of love for Him and deserving of worship
then you are free and not a slave, and that is the worship of the free ones so choosefor yourself and know that in Islam there are 3 types of worship
1- Worship of the heart
Love andfear, hope and desire, awe and reverence, reliance and repentance
2 - Linguistic worship
intent toapproach Such as the two testimonies, praise, supplication, recitation of the Qur’an, supplication, advice, enjoining good and forbidding evil.
3 - Physical worship
Suchas prayer, sacrifice, vows, Hajj, jihad, and other acts of worship, for none
deserves it except God alone. The Muslim must transfer from worship to anotherfrom the 3 types of worships for to covered his whole faith. and Allah is superior and know the best .
