Seeing God - the Most High - in Paradise
Seeing God - the Most High - in Paradise
Al-Tabarani narrated in Al-Mu’jam Al-Awsat (6717)
on the authorityof Anas bin Malik, who said: The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: (Gabriel came to me with the appearance of a white mirror in his hand. There is a black joke in it, so I said: What is this, O Gabriel? He said: This is Friday... and He is the master of the days, and we call it the Day of the Mazid. I said: O Gabriel, What more? He said: that is that your Lord has taken in paradise a valley that is more than a white holder, so if the day of the group is one of the days of the last, the last days of the Lord, The throne was surrounded by pulpits of light, and the prophets sat upon them, and the pulpits surrounded me with golden chairs. The people of the rooms descend from their rooms and sit on the musk dunes. they do not see for the people of the chairs and the pulpits an advantage over them in the assembly, e appears to them majesty and honor, He will say: ask me, and they will say: we ask you for contentment, O Lord, and he will say: My satisfaction will place you in my house, and give you my dignity, then he will say: ask me, and they will all say: we ask you for contentment. He will testify to them that they are satisfied, then say: ask me, So they ask Him until each of their slaves is finished, then He opens to them. What no eye has seen, and no ear has heard, and no human heart has conceived).
It was narrated by Ibn Abi al-Dunyain “Sifat al-Jannah” (88)
from another angle, and added: (...there is nothing more deserving of them than them until the day of Friday, They do not increase in their gaze to their Lord except that they increase in dignity.)
Al-Daraqutni narrated with anauthentic chain of narrators on the authority of Ibn Al-Mubarak.
Al-Mas’udi told us on the authority of Al-Minhal bin Amr on the authority of Abi, (Hurry up to Friday, for God will reveal himself to the people of Paradise every Friday, In a dune: a hill of camphor, so they will be near it. according to their haste to Friday in this world). then he mentioned several ways to him, then said: (So they were not givenanything more beloved to them than looking at their Lord, the Mighty and Sublime.)
In the hadith on the authority of Abu Saeed Al-Khudri, he said
The Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: “God, the Blessed and Most High, will say to the people of Paradise: O people of Paradise? They will say: May our Lord bless you and make you happy. he will say: Are you satisfied? They will say: How can we not be satisfied? And youhave given us what you did not give to anyone of your creation, and He says: I giveyou better than that, they said: O Lord, what is better than that? I give youbetter than that, they said: O Lord, what is better than that? He will say: My pleasure is bestowed upon you, and I will never be angry with you after it. Narrated by Al-Bukhari (6549), and Muslim (2829). (Oh God, make us among them, O Lord of the worlds).
