ظَهَرَ الْفَسَادُ فِي الْبَرِّ وَالْبَحْرِ بِمَا كَسَبَتْ أَيْدِي النَّاسِ لِيُذِيقَهُم بَعْضَ الَّذِي عَمِلُوا لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ (41)
Corruption has appeared on land and sea because of what people's hands have earned, so that some of what they have done may make them taste that they may return (41)

What do you understand from His saying, come, in the verse (perhaps they will return)? Perhaps we will understand that we should reverse our actions towards the environment, on land and sea, in particular, for the sake of improving life on the planet, and see: To God Almighty’s remembrance of the sea specifically with what happens from Muslims and non-Muslims in the sea by leaving waste on the beaches, and then the winds enter it into the sea, which harms marine living creatures, which we may be the ones who eat from it after that... Is that only? Indeed, the continent of Asia in particular produces a third of the waste in the world, and the truth is that China and other Asian countries have taken strict measures now in order to improve the climate,but why is Asia responsible for a third of the world's waste? because it has cheap labor and they work in the field of fashion, and their waste from pieces of cloth, strings, etc., enters the sea, in a way that severely harms marine animals that perform great works for the planet.

Perhaps what is meant is material harm on land and sea that greatly affects human life, because if the food chain is disrupted, species of plants, animals, even birds, and perhaps fish, will ascend, (invasive species) to a place that is not its place, so animals that we have not seen before, such as the appearance of crocodiles in some countries on the beaches, spread, this was not the case before, or the appearance of large wild rats when cats were killed in large numbers or otherwise, or mountain wolves spreading in urban areas due to the killing of dogs in streets, or exporting them to countries to skin them alive and eat them... It is a food chain that if it is disturbed, species will ascend and prey, this is not the appearance of diseases in humans that he was not familiar with.

Allah says

وَلَنُذِيقَنَّهُم مِّنَ الْعَذَابِ الْأَدْنَىٰ دُونَ الْعَذَابِ الْأَكْبَرِ لَعَلَّهُمْ يَرْجِعُونَ (21)

And We will certainly make them taste of the lesser punishment before the greater punishment, that they may turn back (21)

Regardless of the doctrinal meaning of the verse (that they may return to the Lord of Heaven and worship Him), if we stripped the verse from the doctrinal concept, it would be a basis for anything, have you seen the pictures above, don't you see that it is torment without torment? Don't you see that people have begun to turn back from harming nature because it is causing harm to them themselves?
